| We live in a beautiful residential community in Whitefield Bangalore called ‘Chaitanya La Grove’ (LGOA). I was the president of the La Grove home Owners Association (LGOA) from October 2017 to April 2019. During my tenure, 1. Renegotiated the SLA with the security agency, changed the old guards, and got new uniforms. 2. Survey among all owners to decide on building a clubhouse and sponsor it on our own. The clubhouse was finally built in Oct-2020 (see below inauguration photos) after my spouse Kanika Radhakrishnan, who became the President after me, fought legal issues in a court of law and overcame objections from some owners. This is definitely a gift from us to the community. 3. Got online bank accounts at SBI for all the garden and house cleaning staff. 4. Auto deposit of Salary and PF deduction into their respective accounts accounts 5. Got all of them accidental and health insurance. This and the entrance to the community, a nice water fountain surrounded by plants also saw fruition during Kanika’s tenure. 6. Celebrated all the festivals, one per month during my tenure. 7. In one of my previous terms from 2008-2010, I was the Treasurer of the association. |
