About Me
I am a technology and business leader with a passion for smart grids, clean energy, and enterprise AI solutions. With over 27 years in the electric, gas, and water industries, I have led technology centers, developed SaaS AI/ML applications, integrated utility systems, and built scalable cloud platforms. My career spans Fortune 500 companies, global startups, and entrepreneurial ventures, all tied together by a commitment to innovation, servant leadership, and making technology work for people.
My Journey
Born and raised in Bombay, India, I moved to the U.S. in 1991 to pursue my Master’s in Industrial Engineering at the University of Texas at El Paso after completing my Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering at VJTI, Bombay. Over the years, I worked with industry leaders such as Siemens, Xylem, Trilliant, Schlumberger, and HydroPoint, developing solutions that have transformed the clean energy and smart grid sectors.
After spending 27 years in the U.S., I moved to India in 2017 to lead a Global Capability Center (GCC) for a water conservation company before returning to the U.S. in 2022 as Chief Data Scientist at HydroPoint. Along the way, I founded two successful startups, WACS and Verdeeco, both acquired by leading energy companies for substantial investor returns.

What’s Next?
I am looking for an opportunity to set up and lead a Global Capability Center (GCC) in India for a well-funded startup in water conservation or clean energy technology. The ideal company would be in a high-growth phase, needing experienced leadership to bridge customers, technical teams, and senior management across the U.S. and India. I am open to working from the U.S. headquarters or leading operations from India, depending on the company’s needs.
